Clear a line on 3 or more consecutive piece placements to activate a 1.5× score multiplier. Keep the streak alive for massive point gains!
XP is earned from every action. Level up to increase the XP threshold. Each level requires more XP but makes you a better puzzle strategist over time.
Avoid tall stacks or isolated holes. A flat, even board gives all future pieces valid placements and keeps your options open longer.
Resist clearing one line at a time. Fill 2–3 lines simultaneously for exponentially higher scores. A triple clear (500 pts) is 5× better than clearing each separately.
Before placing piece #1, plan where #2 and #3 will go. This prevents you from accidentally blocking yourself into a corner with no valid placements.
Reserve corners for small L-shapes and 2×2 blocks. Large pieces need open space — place them in the center or along edges with room to extend.
Many players focus only on rows. But columns clear too! A tall 1×5 piece can wipe an entire column. Keep both dimensions in mind when planning.
If you can arrange your placements so every piece clears at least one line, you'll maintain a streak multiplier of 1.5× — this can double your total score over a long game!
No — moves are final, just like the original arcade version. This is what makes every placement meaningful and the game so strategically satisfying!
No rotation — pieces are fixed as shown in the tray. This is a core rule of the block puzzle genre. The challenge is fitting pieces in their given orientation.
Click "Pause" (or press Space) to freeze the game. The board blurs and all interaction is blocked. Click "Resume" or press Space again to continue exactly where you left off.
Yes! Your best score, level, achievements and stats are saved in your browser's localStorage. They persist after closing the tab unless you clear browser data.
Achievements are special milestones you unlock by playing — clearing 100 lines, getting a 5× combo, reaching level 5, and more. Check the Achievements tab to see all of them!
